Sage Chameleon Office - Meet the staff
Clifford - CEO
Clifford was one of the earliest members of the team, back when the company was operating from a house. Clifford transmitted his vision and mission and slowly but surely throughout the years he escalated all the way to the top of the ladder.
In these couple years he has brought much needed change to the office, from more approachable upper management, to a more congruent set of policies and standards for the company.
As part of the organizational change he was to bring, he is also wondering if maybe software should be part of the strategy.
When Clifford is not envisioning the future of the company, he likes to research about planes, or perhaps even take a small drive to the airport just to see the landings and takeoffs.
Christian - CFO
Christian is a new member to the company, brought by Clifford. Christian is bringing new ideas to an old system. He wants to make the company far more robust, and reduce costs were needed. Christian hopes to fit in with the company culture and stay strong.
Christian also wonders where cost could be reduced, besides renegotiating the terms of the rent lease, he is keeping an eye on all those factors that could be eating up the bottom line.
Christian rejoices his free time in books, especially those about history and novels from the past.
Simon - Sales

Simon is so eloquent, clever, and charismatic, that you just want to be around him.
Back in the day he would run from client to client with heavy catalogs selling products. Now at his corner office he is most of the day on conference calls with his key sales team members. As a bright man, he has changed the way to do sales to a more personable and approachable style to clients.
Simon, though, is hoping for a miracle this year with such economy. He was so disappointed last year when the entire company fell so short from their goals. But heck, he has gone through these types of rollercoasters before. He is hoping his smart game, and outstanding team will get those much needed sales.
Simon when is not orchestrating his sales team, he is actually listening to orchestras, philharmonics, and many other types of ive classical music. His dream is to go back to Vienna and attend the exquisite concerts of the children’s choir.
Enrique - Engineering
Enrique is the head engineer of the office. Back in the day he had actual a technical job to run; now he spends most of his day managing his team. He would love to have better ways to monitor, manage, and get results done. It is challenging and at times frustrating to have such a bright group of employees and not utilize their maximum potential since the system is so slow.
Enrique is also trying to figure how to work remotely so the team can gain flexibility In his free time, he goes to pick up soccer games in the park near his home. Don’t try to look for Enrique during the soccer world cup; he is most likely gone to watch the epic matches.
Warren - Warehouse
Warren used to work cleaning the warehouse, then he started assembling simple parts, and now he is in charge of an entire line. Warren is such a hard working guy, that you can’t stop been inspired by his exemplar performance. He is the man that comes early on Monday and stays late on a Friday, just to make sure the entire inventory is correctly recorded.
Now with changes in procedures of the company, Warren is slightly intimidated by all the technology upper management wants to bring. Yet he knows he needs to set an example to the rest of his crew to embrace change. We will see. Warren now is spending most of his free time with his first granddaughter: Michelle. The two months old baby is melting this tough guy’s heart.
Sam - Shipper
Sam is always cracking hilarious jokes and looking forward to have orders to ship. Sam is dedicated and grateful for his job. If you hear a forklift approaching, you know Sam is looking for materials somewhere around the warehouse.
He is also a receiver, counting and inspecting merchandise upon arrival at the vendors. Anytime merchandise is late, Sam is the one with the latest news. You can see him calling the drivers and vendors from his cellphone when the food truck shows up during brake.
Sam is such a fan of the outdoors. He couldn’t work more than 5 feet inside a building, so the docking stations are indeed his place. On his free time, he takes camping trips with his buddies. Sam now is even trying to get a couple days off to catch the coming meteor shower.
Orlando - Order Entry
Orlando is the man that sets everything into motion at the office. Running between the fax machine, the phone, and the web orders, he channels orders, promises delivery dates, and gets everyone on their feet.
He has had a tough time trying to coordinate everything, but someone has to do it, and he is the man. Orlando is meticulous and makes a pretty big deal out of any mistake. Orlando doesn’t’ worry much if his supervisor is giving him feedback to do his job better, but if a customer is annoyed, he is moody the rest of the day.
Orlando has the type of personality that uplifts the team to continue working and get better at it each time. When not in the office, Orlando is fixing his car, and his friend’s car, and his friend’s friend’s car… he loves car mechanics, and will not get his hands out of an engine.
Cory - Customer Service
Cory is in the front line: answering questions, coordinating returns, sending replacement parts; in essence he is trying to improve customer satisfaction. Customer success is his success.
Cory wished he knew more, he would love to know everything about engineering the products, the logistic details and lead times of production and shipping, the exact pricing for each part, service and bundle.
He has a good humor to keep up with all the odd -and at time rambunctious- customer requests.
In his free time, Cory gets away from the busy pace and enjoys continuos practice of Tai Chi and martial arts.
Paul - Purchasing
Although Paul’s title is purchasing, he is constantly doing far more than that. He is anticipating demand, trying to convince vendors to stay on time, negotiates deals, talks to engineering about the new items coming up, and even receives shipments when they are from specific vendors.
Paul is printing reports a few times a day just to make sure enough of everything is on ordered. Also he takes a look at production every now and then to make sure things are utilized as scheduled.
His hectic days at work are compensated by the satisfaction he gets when everything is on hand at the exact time and exact quantity. When not coordinating procurement, he is off to the mountains skiing with his family.
Peter - Production
Peter runs production. Even with all the craze of trying to meet customer deadlines, coordinate with the shippers, sync with purchasing, and all the ups and downs of Production, Peter would not be anywhere else.
The best part of production, according to him, is that you can immediately see the result of your efforts. There is no ambiguity, no questions; it’s simple: is either complete or not. Peter could not work in an environment with too much speculations or assumptions.
He feels he tangibly contributes to the company every time a shipment is timely and complete. He is a direct guy and manages his team the same way.
This fellow when not coordinating production, is woodworking in his shop at home.
